Hi!

I´m about to purchase my version of zennoposter since I love demo very much, but I´m worried about task scheduling, not working for me.

My version ZP MP 4.5.0.2

I tried like 9999 combos on schedule+stop+settings tabs to make my projects run once per day at required hour (ie 12 am)

First day I tried it seemed to work. Now I am unable to schedule a single task: once per day or repeating X minutes, it never works. I have been like anocher 4 hours testing schedule before opening this thread.

I also opened and closed zenno during my tests as other users suggested. I tried info suggested here but no difference at all: http://zennolab.com/discussion/showthread.php?9512-Sheduler-newbie-question&highlight=task+once+per+day

Question: When I activate scheduler (click enable) do I need to fill in anything in settings tab?

If I put execution count > 0 it just run normal and will not schedule task, If I put it on 0 it schedule but when selected time comes it does nothing.

I dont know if its a bug or I am doing anything wrong. Hope you can give me some clues and answer my question. Thank you.

Provide screenshots of all your settings that you set. Otherwise it's hard t say anything.

Hi!

Thank you for your support! I dunno what screenshot exactly to post, since I tried many configs and all failed, but here is the one I think it should work.

SCREENSHOT FROM 7:09 AM

SCREENSHOT FROM 7:011 AM

When 7:10 am arrived, scheduler did nothing. This is what happened in all my tests.
When I select time interval (ie 1200 seconds) it works on that same examples.

Maybe Zenno is not getting my computer time correctly? Maybe do I miss any time settings in Zeno? I hope the problem its me and you can help me to solve it.

Thank you!!!

Also I´m interested in your signature info, will probably use your ref code, so double thanks.

Thank you guys, I will be checking this thread.

It would be so nice to have it solved, since some people like me need Zenno to do simple tasks just once per day.

Even if I can make an external scheduler (windows/bat file...) running a task in Zenno that would make it.

You can do it.
Right click on task - Create bat file.

Great to hear :az:

Anyway we need more information if any of you experience the same problem.
We need to know what language your Windows uses + right after you saw that scheduler wasn't triggered:

Please send us logs from Zennoposter /Logs folder (zip the whole folder) + include Windows logs (Control panel - Administrative tools - Event viewer). Then choose Windows logs - Applications. Select all events for last 2 days and export them)

Sorry for being back, but I faced one problem when using BAT files too :(

This one is probably because I do not know how to properly use Zenno.

I´m using a BAT file to run a task now. I need this task to run just one time and stop, waiting for next BAT file execution the next day. Unfortunately, I am not able to do it.

In "Settings" tab:

Scenario 1:
If I select "execution count"=1, BAT file calls task and it runs once, but after it, zenno decreases "execution count" to 0, so next time BAT file doesnt work.

Scenario 2:
If I put a higher "execution count" (ie 9). When BAT file runs, task begins, but it will repeat 9 times and then go again to "execution count"=0, disabling future BAT file calls.

I suposse there is an easy way to run a task just once from a bat file and be able to run this task again without manually increasing "execution count" field each day. I hope you can help me.

Thank you!

That was a message to all clients :-)

For your case: I think this bat configuration should work: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?fxaes6w77m6cq95
This settings has to be not zero: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?4goy16wsystc3s4

Great again! It works like a charm!

Set attemps to 1 when creating BAT file makes it run like I want. Thanks a lot!

About logs that´s fine, I´ll be client in some days so I´ll pos it if needed. Thank you!

Zenno takes the time from GMT, which is +0...

I've found scheduler difficult too but many threads on forum teach you how.
