Proxy only works in firefox not chrome

Hey Guys I bought a proxy from smart proxy and the issue is it works perfectly when I set the browser in zenno to firefox but when I set it to chrome it says "
Proxy Authentication Required" even though no other settings changed and the username/ password are there. I tried to uncheck all the boxes for geolocation etc and it doesn't make a difference. I would use it with firefox but the issue is I would like to use save profile or save profile folders which seem to work best with chrome. I am running it as an admin. Any help would be very much appreciated.

For some reason when I use firefox it keeps the entry exactly how I put it

http://username:[email protected]:10001

But when I switch to chrome it replaces this part "us.smartproxy.com" with 2607:7700:0:1b:0:1:b99c:2f31

so its

http://usernameassword@2607:7700:0:1b:0:1:b99c:2f31:10001

Any idea how I can fix this?

You should use IPV4 addresses, not IPV6
