threads dont open / high CPU usage

Hello,

I am running zenno in a top configuration server machine. But eventhough it is a xeon CPU E5-1650 with 128GB memory, it seems there is a limit on the number of threads I can open at the same time.

I put the maximum of threads to open in 300 but it opens until around 170 threads and don't increase anymore. and this is using 95% of CPU, memory is still low in usage.

Is there a way around this? Should I split the server on virtual machines and install zenno on the virtual machines as well?

Is it possible instead of virtual machine (which I would have to pay adittional windows lincense on each), install 2 times zenno on different folders (using different licenses obviously)?

I also would like to know if there is a way to improve CPU performance as it seems it is the limitation here. But I also think 170 threads is not much for this CPU. So maybe is something else.

170 threads is a lot for full browser automation.

Each thread in ZennoPoster builds DOM model, renders images, execute JS, handles events, animations, etc. All of this require CPU resources. Also, the processor is loaded with periodic reset of instances. There are several ways to minimize usage of processor:

1. Disabling unnecessary processing elements, flash, pictures, scripts, and all that is possible. Please note that if a site has good antispam protection, this could affect ban of accounts. For example, registration will take place, but the new account will cause suspicion and in the future may be banned.
2. In the settings you can set number of threads per base. By increasing this parameter, you save memory and CPU a little, but additional delays while simulating mouse and keyboard strokes will be added.
3. IntelliSearch and emulation. IntelliSearch increases usage of CPU (2-3 times), but it helps to quickly create projects. To use it or not, its up to you. Mouse and keyboard emulation increases usage of processor and has the effect described in (2). But sometimes without it you just can not create an account. Also usage of emulation during the registration process lowers chances to get ban for your accounts.
4. Search by picture use significant amount of CPU resources too.

Thanks for the tips and i will try to improve my template.

But there must be ways to improve also changing the settings.

On the instance settings there are many parameters that seems to also affect CPU and memory usage. Can you send me the best numbers on each parameter to be most efficient on my case. High CPU usage and memory running in around 20%

Also, I asked on the first thread. Can I installl 2 times zenno on different folders and run them concurrently (with different licenses). Also, I can install virtual machines and install zenno on them (cost would increase though because of windows license).

Do you think spreading the load among more then one installation can improve?

You're out of CPU resources. Splitting between 2 virtual machines will not help you.
You can install software to virtual machine, but you can't install it in different folders
The only thing i suggest is increasing threads per process (base).

You can try to use ZennoBox

Nop zennobox is just option in place of exe bots. But it works same way as Zennoposter.
Although I do not believe that disabling pictures and other stuff on page did not improved CPU usage.
What platform are you running templates on ?
