How to create an error log

I would like to know what is the best way to create an error log during either a registration or login, anyone with an example please?

You can handle such errors from usual ZP log. Usually it is HTML elemens isn't found, so you can check this element after and if element searching criteries are right you should put pause before execution.

The log files are kept in the Log folder. They are named by the date and time.
