just like this - hostname:porthow can i set hostname instead of ip in proxychecker?
address with hostname should be supported in latest versions of ZP in builtt-in proxychecker as well as in latest version of stand alone proxychecker.@VladZen Are there any news in the meantime on how/when we can use hostname (e.g. rotating.gateway.proxyprovider.com) in ZP's Proxychecker? Currently it only works with IP! But it's often needed to enter a hostname. especially with backconnect proxy providers.
Thanks.
Strange, as I'm using latest version of ZP's (v7.1.2.1) builtin proxychecker. When I load a txt.-file as source with hostnames it shows me a yellow exclamation mark in ZP's proxy checker. When I replace in the same txt-file the hostnames with the appropriate IPs it works instantly.address with hostname should be supported in latest versions of ZP in builtt-in proxychecker as well as in latest version of stand alone proxychecker.
Does such proxy work if you set it using Set proxy action in ProjectMaker?Strange, as I'm using latest version of ZP's (v7.1.2.1) builtin proxychecker. But I can retry it once again and let you know.
Yes, it works. I'm also able to set additional parameter in the proxystring like "username-country-US-city-Phoenix....:[email protected]:100256" in PM and it works fine. Also if I run the project with that proxystring in ZP it works well.Does such proxy work if you set it using Set proxy action in ProjectMaker?
I asked developers to add proxy address format with hostname to proxychecker.Yes, it works.
