All projects suddenly give : Run List Index was out of range. Must be non-negative a

Hi there,

Yesterday while working on a project I suddenly got this error in the log : (randomly during debugging, first 50x nothing happened)

"Run List Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index"

I of course searched for this problem and found that it has something to do with empty lists/files. I have double checked everything but can't find anything that is empty/missing.

Now also all my other templates that I have made give me this error too

The strange thing is that I also get this error sometimes before or at the same time :

captchabot.com module Something nasty happend. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

This is weird because the template I'm working on doesn't have any captchas

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

What is ID of failed action?

It varies depending on which "list processing" it hits first

fc84c0c1-8d60-439e-b405-f6abf46e5786 (the first list action that gave original error)


9e332223-c3f7-44c5-8f8f-0e99af1a9d33 other random one that gives just "Run List Index was outside the bounds of the array."

It seems that across all projects now any list action gives this error.

Check if there any blank lines in your lists and remove them. You can use NotaPad++ for this

Going to do this now and ++ is always in my arsenal

Ok none of the txtfiles have empty lines, still get the error

This is a bug I've been experiencing with the latest build.

It really sucks when it strikes. Only solution for me is to:

1) check file path to file;
2) delete the list processing action and create new one;
3) keep shutting down zp and restart.

Repeat all actions until the bug goes away (until another day).

This really isnt an option as I have 30 projects now all with 10+ list processing actions. This also really happened out of nowhere in the middle of a random project, before that I never got this.

Also it gives the error on every list, regardless of what it does or how the .txt file is.

Any news on what this could be yet?

Do you experience this in the run or debug? With mine it happens EVERY time I open a saved project with lists and try to run debug. The projects seem to run fine in ZP MP although the error exists in debug.

To fix mine I just need to delete all my lists and recreate them the exact same way and then debug works again, until I close the project and re-open it. Then the error returns and if I want to run debug I must delete all the lists again and recreate them. It is really frustrating to say the least and the lack of support is about as frustrating as well.

This is a real bug that needs to be dealt with and it has nothing to do with blank lines in text files. I have empty text files that return this error, full text files return this error, any text file returns this error. This error happens every time on my two machines.

Debug

To fix mine I just need to delete all my lists and recreate them the exact same way and then debug works again, until I close the project and re-open it.

I might revert back to an older version until it gets fixed, do you know of one that doesnt have this ?

For me, anything prior to v. 4.5.0.2.

Strange..


I opened projectmaker to try and remember if I always use @restart@ button. Pressed it and project loaded lists/files with no problem at all.

Mind = blown

If you just select an action and hit Next this may be the reason.
With Restart all data from list should be uploaded correctly
