I had a 8G machine running ZP, using about 5 to 6 G. Yesterday I upgraded the PC to 32G, but I found that for the same projects, the total memory usage increased to 11G. Most of the base.exe usage got larger. Why is that?

Probably not the hard drive. Even webpages don't have enough speed to load.

Sometimes after a GoTo URL action, the instance is still at "blank" address. This doesn't happen all the time, but when it happens it's causing errors for subsequent actions. How do I solve this problem in an efficient way? Thanks.

When my project completes, the base.exe is still in the task manager for a while, using memory. Is there a way to shut down that process as soon as project completes, releasing memory immediately without delay?

Yes, that why I was suggesting to interrupt the Pause immediately like in PM. I think almost all users who use interrupt in ZP have the purpose of ending the project at that moment. Thanks.

I don't know why mine isn't doing this. For example this: When I press Interrupt, it becomes this 0% forever (or 9999 seconds), waiting for the Pause to complete - we can't do anything (and pressing the Start button simply makes it a star icon without any other effect) - project stuck.

But if the template is in the middle of a Pause action, Interrupt is not effective until the Pause is finished. This request is to make Interrupt able to stop the Pause immediately.

The problem is that the files generated by the "Write to file" action by ZP itself is not in UTF-8 (Write a blank line to generate file, then use Bind to file to add data). Loading a such generated file into a list will give me "different from UTF-8" error. There's no cyrillic and chinese...

Yes, even though the problem on my end starts after 2,3 hours for hourly repeated projects rather than days.

The problem is that the default format of txt files created in Windows is in ANSI. Could you make ZP compatible with that? Manually changing format for all txt files is possible, but we can easily miss some of them, causing errors, especially for older projects.

This buy is not fixed in 5.4.

Sometimes they stay on Loading forever. This didn't happen in 5.3.1, where the same website is always able to load completely. This is my main website and the hardware side is stable. Setting timeout is the last thing I want to do, as I never needed that in 5.3.1.

Are you referring to the AddTask method? I read the wiki link you posted and it seems like AddTask is about "Add a new task", rather than controlling an running task (from within that task), right?

That's what I am doing after testing many projects: reset at every finish. I am seeing a significant improvement in memory usage, especially for multi-threaded ones. (but ZP seems to crash more often now.)

If I place this in the Bad End, what if the Bad End is triggered before page is loaded (no body tag). Will this lead to an infinite loop of Bad End? How to solve this problem? Thanks.
