As everywhere, if data are very important, you create some backup solutions. One file where you take and add data, second just add and update. Or if data are extremely important you send them out of your server at all, either upload to cloud or in best way send them to external Database.

Yes, you put nothing in table path directly. You dont need to save table. When adding a line, it is automatically added in file without doing anything else. Same with removing/deleting line/s from table, they are automatically removed from file. Of course you have to tick checkbox Save table...

I see the problem in your path. If you have a dynamic path to file you dont put path variable in Table Settings. Instead, use separate action. Table ==> Bind to the file
