ActionDesigner Document and Form inquiry

Guys,

When using Action Designer for setting button press or filling up form fields you have assign nubers to form and document.

I found out that different sites have the same fieleds set up in different form or docment numbers.

How do you cope with that? Is there a universal value to put in. I use sometimes -1 which help in some cases. Can u set this value for two instances eg Form: 1,2?

Just use -1
Everything else can stop working if site will have minor changes

Every html page has it's own structure. Sometimes page several documents and forms and you can limit search by form and document number. But is site change it's structure, this search will fail for sure.
And if you set -1 as document and form number, program will look for element in ALL documents and forms based on your search criteria.

Oh, so the only problem is, if there is other similar element on the site, Zennoposter will choose first one.

Correct, it will choose element with number based on your search settings. Cause you can change number of math.
ThaT'S WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO DO YOUR BEST TO SET SEARCH CRITERIA WHICH WILL BE VALID ONLY FOR 1 ELEMENT
