canny edge detector

Hi,

after using canny edge detector (i must use it) letters are empty inside,
because of that I have very little mass center dots, and they are not in the middle of letters,

how can I fill in empty letters with a black colour?

You cant but you can add extra dots for mass centers. Please attach you cm2 project
