Creating lots of small templates vs one super template?

let's say i have a routine where I login and post an article to 50 of my web2.0s, then submit it to Article directories, then submit social bookmarks, then.... Can i create one master template to do all of these steps? Or do i have to create smaller templates for each individual step?
