Email Port Variable Bug

So i've noticed that a bug from the first version of this beta is still here. If I have a variable created that gets the port number from a file (lets say in this case its {-Variable.GetPort-}, when I put that variable into the Port Field, it does not pull the port number. Any idea of when we can get a fix for this?
