Is the latest version working 5.9xx well for you guys?

Not tried it myself but wanted to get other opinions because I still have dreaded crashing problems with 5.8. due to java script issues.

Im trying 5.7 for now. I cant upgrade since my sub ran out so I don't want to pay and find out the newest one is stil plagued with the same issues.

So wanted to hear some other opinions from fellow users to help me make a decision.

EDIT: 5.7 is working great on the template that 5.8 used to crash. Seems 5.8 is a no man's land, they totally screwed it up all thru 5.8 it seems. Still interested in opinions on 5.9 though.

Thanks for heads up. The multithread thing I also had issues with in 5.8 till I upgraded the ram.

But 5.7 seems to have solved all issues I was having for the moment.

I have a simple project that takes usernames/pw from a table and comments from a list file and enters it into web form on social media sites via keyboard emulation. This worked perfectly fine on 5 threads on 5.7 and 5.8 versions. Since 5.9 it doesn't, simple as that. I didn't change anything on the project.

I don't get any error messages - it doesn't enter the data correctly, they just come up blank - mostly the first I fetched from the table, so maybe it's related to file operations. When I try the same project on a single thread it works perfectly every time, but even 2 threads and it doesn't work any more (and like I said it worked with 5 threads on 5.8 versions).

Can you please tell me more about your thread hang issue, I'm more than half year trying to catch this bug out, if we are talking about same issue.

What do you mean by 'catch this bug out'? You mean you do get it or you've never got it?

For me multithread templates will all just suddenly hang simultaneous and then close after instances timeout.

For me I don't seem to get it on 5.8xx, but on that version I get java bug which also causes crashing, but that only happens on a couple of templates so I stick with 5.8 wheras the haniging problem happens more often for unexplained reasons.

I tried it but it inst much use since I can only run 1 thread and one of the problems is with multithreading. Altho the java problem i had with one template seemed to be ok in pm.

I used to get these hangs in previous builds by disabling either pictures or java. Maybe try enabling pics, etc.
