Javascript Category selector - how to select it

Here is my attachment. It is selected for the whele when I set click Action, but is not selected as regular mouse click.

Maybe I was not clear enough, but I am trying to select category.

When you click on the link above you, I should make several steps:

1. Log in button (OK)
2. Click on "Change Category" (OK)
3. Try to select "Movies" (with pro branch builder, but can't - I can only select for about half of the second, but then selection disapear)
4. Click on "Update Category"

This is just an example, but I would like to know how to do it. I am trial user for now. I have similar site, where I would like to select categories from files (in form of Numbers or Names) with related texts and titles while adding new listings.
