Project settings vs Profile settings

Will the profile settings override the project settings?

Meaning, if I have Firefox in project settings, and the profile picks chrome will that be overridden?

In project settings you select the browser which will really operate.
In profile settings you emulate browser for website you work with to hide you self and bypass protection from bots.
