[SOLVED] 4.0.7.0 Email Problem?

Is there a problem with 4.0.7.0 and emails?
I am using gmail email with pop.gmail.com port 995. When I try to configure it jumps to IMAP just before login and then when I exit it stays on IMAP. The emails do not get deleted

Use 4.0.8.2..!

Gmail have problems with deleting emails via imap.

Cause their ordinary function instead of delete is archive.

Try other imap email providers in 4.0.8.2

can you recommend a good email provider that is also easy to create accounts with?

Always use more recent version.
Current is 4.0.8.2

For imap I use gmail.
I just don't delete emails )

how do you process the emails if you don't delete them? Can you please explain?

I saw on another thread you said that one option is to have one project for registering and another for clicking the confirm links and other actions.
How do you process all the confirm links if they all come to one email account?

I upgraded to 4.0.8.2 and it works well.
and you are correct, I don't need to delete the emails as it works fine like this.
It still goes to IMAP but it works well for me in IMAP so everything is OK
