[SOLVED] Can't install 4.2 on my laptop.

It has all the updated .net packages.
Win7 Home Premium
I have re-downloaded the installer multiple times, even restarted my laptop to try and see if that would fix it and it didn't.

But what happens is after it says its extracting the files for the C++ thingy it just "crashes" no errors, no logs in the C:/ area...Just nothing appears at all after that point.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

I think i found my problem.

Its most likely the .net framework 4.5 breaking the installer. It does exactly as the linked to post says.

Yes you need to uninstall NET 4.5
