How many threads can I realistically run?

How many threads can I realistically run on my home computer with a 5 Mbit internet connection and 4 gig's of RAM?

For arguments sake, let's say I'm running a facebook account creator.

Is RAM more important or number of cores /speed?
I have an i7 running 4 real cores (8 virtual) at 4 gHz, with 6gb RAM, does that mean, ZP pro could run 60 threads? Is the machine totally maxed out than, or could I still do google research or anything?
