I got the error project does not contain default settings when selling templates using plugins to customers

When I install and run Zennobox for a customer, when I open the Input Setting of the template, it says "Project does not contain default settings" and the Updates column of the template always shows "Waiting for an update" as shown below. How to handle this error?

Hi thewitcher, I habe exactly the same problem, did you find how to fix it?

This project in fact does not contain settings, probably client is using an old project that needs to be updated?
This ZP is pretty old version 7.7.3 maybe your template was updated using the newer versions, and can't run on this version of zennobox
