Is there a way to stop a template until you input something?

Hi, I want to create a semi-manual template and I was wondering if there is a way to stop the template until some information is inputted? Thanks

Use macro alert from ZP3

I used text processing - prepare java script and inputted {-JS.Alert-|-Check-}
It shows the alert in the debugger mode but it won't work on zennoposter.
What am I doing wrong?

UPDATE: I changed "prepare java script" for "String Escape" and it is working now, just in case someone is having the same issue.
