Math question - Percentage

It's to do with list processing, and deleting a percentage of lines. For example, I count the number of lines, then if >20 (say 100 lines), then only delete 80%.

Is this possible?

Tried, but couldn't get it to work. Ended up using a range: 10-end, to delete excess lines.
