"Open extension window" is not working

Hello,
I want to change my wallet in Metamask. When i click on "Open extension window " . Nothing happens. ( not automatic )
But when click "details" . it words fine.
Is it an error ?

Try just reinstalling the extension.
It should be opened in separate window, which may be displayend on the backgroud.
