PM 5.0.4.2 - Issues with list processing and Get Line

In PM 5.0.4.2 there's an issue with list processing in debugging.

I keep getting message: 'Action not executed' every time I try to get line. I've checked all file paths ok (always use {-Project.Directory-} with correct file).

I tried this in PM 4.5.0.2 to make sure, and it works ok there.

I managed to find out why it wouldn't work.

In List, if I check the box: Save changes to file, I get error message all the time.




Need to add that this happens inList processing > Get line.

So now in List processing, I choose delete line after take, but cannot save file as it shows error.

The error is: 'Action not executed'. This only displays in debugging.

Software isn't run as admin, although it is shown as Windows Vista (SP2) in compatibility mode (btw, I haven't touched this setting when I installed ZP).

Managed to get it running ok after I did a fresh install.

Is this bug fixed in later versions? I'm considering a purchase of the update module if you fixed this bug.

I also have two lists that process in a template using > Get line but fail if I need to re-edit a template after saving. If I remove both lists and add them back (the same way) they work on the first save of the project. If I open the project again and try to run it in PM both lists will not run and produce the following error:





If I open the lists they correctly parse the intended files but PM won't debug or run without an error if I reopen a saved project with list files. To correct the error I must delete the list files and add them back to the project (exactly as they were) and then PM will run and debug parsing the list files. If I save the project and reopen it again, PM will not run either of those files until I delete them again and add them back again.

Very frustrating! I tried with ProjectDirectory path and full path to the files. It makes no difference. I moved them to C: drive with a shorter path, it still didn't make a difference. I'm also running ZP Standard 5.0.4.2.

Any suggestions are appreciated. I'm getting real tired of removing and putting back list files so I can debug the rest of the script.

No, I haven't experienced this issue in the latest (v.5.0.7.0). Only had this problem in final build of v.4 - the problem kept cropping up now and again. The only fix was to delete the action and create a new one.

Thanks for the update Shabbysquire. I'll purchase the update as mine just expired last month and I have 5.0.4.2. I'm happy to hear later versions don't have this issue.

I got this problem even my version is v.5.0.7.0. Everytime I reopen my project to edit, for list processing, I get the error message "Action not executed" all the time. What should I do? Please help!!
