Environment:
- ZennoPoster Pro / ProjectMaker 7.9.2.0 (latest version offered in my UserArea)
- Windows Server 2025, PublicApi contract version 1.2.0 (per GET /capabilities)
- Auth: API key, maxTier T3, all scopes granted
- Access: direct HTTP on localhost (ProjectMaker :5299)
I am trying to author projects programmatically via the PublicApi. The
following does not work on 7.9.2.0:
1) Element finders are silently dropped on action creation
POST /api/v1/projects/current/actions
Body includes a binding, e.g.:

The call returns 200 with an actionId, but GET on the created action shows:

The XPath/finder data is discarded. Tested with XPathFinder (simple XPath)
and DomFinder (Tag + SearchConditions with AttrName/AttrValue/SearchKind) —
both stored as an empty DomFinder.
PATCH /projects/current/actions/{groupId}/{actionId}/properties accepts
"parameters" but also ignores "finderType"/"finder" keys.
PUT /projects/current/actions/{groupId}/{actionId} (action_update) returns 404.
Consequence: HTMLElement actions (SetAttribute, RiseEvent, ParsePage...)
cannot be authored via the API on 7.9.2.0 — they are stored with no way to
locate an element, and fail at runtime.
2) OwnCode JavaScript cube fails on execute with no exposed error
POST /api/v1/projects/current/actions/{groupId}/{actionId}/execute returns 200.
GET .../execute/status returns "executeStatus":"Fail".
GET /projects/current/logs shows nothing for this action.
GET /projects/current/last-error returns
{"error":"internal_error","message":"Object reference not set to an
instance of an object."}
The executed code is plain browser JS (document.querySelector, value set,
dispatchEvent, click). No way to see the actual error.
3) Debug endpoints return 404
GET /api/v1/projects/current/debug/status and related debug_* paths from the
developer guide return 404 on 7.9.2.0. Step debugging is unavailable.
Questions:
- Are items 1-3 fixed in ZennoPoster 7.9.3? My UserArea still offers 7.9.2.0
as the latest version. When will 7.9.3 be available, or is there a beta
build I can test?
- If finders can be authored via the API on 7.9.2.0, what is the exact
request body shape?
