Re-use a random string in another field of the same form

I try to automate a single form.

In one field of the form, I put a random string.

How to grab the same random string in order to put it in another field of the same form?

I am in front of the screen. I d'ont see how do you copy the result of a macro. Where is it?

I am in the "Action recording on the web page" tab.

When you are doing action recording, you can find the value of random text (like a password that is blanked out) by hovering your mouse of the element and then looking in the element properties box. You will see the value that has been inputted and then just copy it.

Really, I am sorry, I think there is a misunderstanding (or I miss really something).

I have a form with two fields : First Name and Surname.

During the execution of my project, I just want to have:

First Name = random string
Surname = the same string than the first name.

How can I do that?
