Searching for ReCaptcha takes a long time

So I'm setting data to a text area and clicking submit. Every 5-10 times I loop through the entire process and click submit, Recaptcha shows up which is fine. I have Recognize Recaptcha searching for it.

The problem is, when Recaptcha doesn't show up and the Recognize Recaptcha starts in the loop and cannot find the Captcha, the process of searching for Recaptcha hangs for what feels like 5 minutes until it fails and says it cannot find Recaptcha.

Is there a way to skip Recognize Recaptcha if the Recaptcha doesn't show up? or stop Recognize Recaptcha from searching after 5 seconds?

Also and maybe this is related to the problem. When Recaptcha is visible and it has solved the captcha (without a puzzle showing) It still hangs for what feels like 30 seconds before it moves to the next action.
