Special characters in Exif data

Is it possible to save Exif data (for example Description or Title) with special characters for specific languages?

When I save file with a word with special characters - for example: Fougères , Asnières-sur-Seine , Akçaabat I see in the photo viewer Fougères , Asnières-sur-Seine , Akçaaba. So every special char was replaced with a question mark.

Maybe someone faced a similar problem?

What is file encoding which you save text to? should be utf-8

@VladZen I use the block "Image processing" > Save Image. There is no option to select the file encoding.

This is text encoding issue.
Try to select corresponding language for non-unicode symbols in region and language standards, see details here.

@VladZen - Thank you. I checked option "Use Unicode UTF-8 to support languages from all over the world" and now is ok.
