Take DOM vs Take Source

hello,
this is my first day with zennoposter 5.. i would like to know the difference between Take Dom and Take Source when scraping data ? i already create a regex pattern but it works on Take Source but not on Take DOM ? what is the best practice when using Take Dom ?

Dom include all data from scripts that were executed on page loading.
