The server responded: -ERR mailbox could not be OPEN - HOTMAIL

Hello,

I am unable to log into my hotmail accounts with Zenno:
Here is the error message from Zenno.
Wrong account name and/or password. The server responded: -ERR mailbox could not be opened.

The pop3 server is fine, username and passwords are fine, firewall and antivirus disabled. I can log manually but not with Zenno.

Please help, I have been2 days on this problem.

How often have you connected there? Does it happen with any hotmail account?

are u really really sure u have the right logins/pop/port/ not coding etc?

I have found the problem, it was really stupid.

I had the usernames and passwords as "username:password"
The first step was set to remove the line and the second second also. I have now set the first step to false and second to true.

In way the script was always taking a username but using another password................

Very stupid but it is better to post it here , some might run into the same trouble one day

I have a similar problem, one of my templates registers account, and then immediately verifies it.

Sometimes the hotmail server says i have to wait 15 minutes to reconnect, wouldnt it be possible to use a socks proxy for mail processing? So I can enter use socks proxy in my template and when it connects to the mail server it will always be from a different ip (including retries etc etc)
