Variable in tab path

Hello,

I have a template which has to process on a table each day.

The table name is like that : filenamedate.csv

I have in the template a variable with the date, so i setted in the table path this :

C:\filename{-Variable.date-}.csv

Unfortunately, that doesn't work (it works when i write the date)

Did i do something wrong ?

You cannot use variables in list/table settings.

Thanks, so for example, when i download a file from a website, can i give the name i want to this file ?

After downloading use action File - Move and move it to new location with new name. You cannot set name for file before you download it.

So can I do this ?

1. download the file filename03242014.csv
2 move the file frome c:/filename{-Variable.date-}.csv to c:/newfile.csv
