what is the usage of "pause"? is it necessary? if so in what circumstances we have to use?

with my experience i felt it one situation! we can use it before reading captcha. it might takes some time to read.

You can use it when you got errors like HTML element is not found.
Put pause before action which interacts with this HTML element.
