Wordpress file upload

Go to wordpress self hosted script and insert article and then press add media - then next is upload files and then press select files button - not every time but very often PM closes without any warning.

yes it fails on some systems
you can usually compatibility mode Vista SP2 helps.
Should be fixed in the next build.

Nothing helps in this issue, and it is very annoying that i should start PM again after every debug.
When updates will be there please ? ? ?

Its weird, I was trying all day and it did not work... Always PM closed. But 30 min ago I opened PM in compatibility win xp SP3 mode and now its working... Hope it helps.

Ok, bug is bug, but why you not upload via ftp image ?

I´m in both Wordpress.com and Wordpress.org so I cant use FTP at .org
We can also use XMLRPC and post by email to avoid normal upload.

It´s a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate. Not completely updated since I had some problems with microsoft updates.
