Everyone knows that moving from HDD to SSD provides significant speedup (ZennoPoster is not an exception).
Even if reliability and speed of SSD drives will increase, you can still accelerate ZP even more, if you have lots of RAM.
You can create a RAM disk and relocate the Trash folder.

You can do this in settings:

This helps to get two benefits:
1. Accelerate ZennoPoster's work + decrease time for starting instances.
2. Prolong life of the hard drive, especially if it is SSD

Good stuff Darkdiver! I should get my SSD this week and hope to see improvement overall (espcially for ZP tasks).

Just a thought; if your PC doesn't have too much ram, maybe use USB memory for trash?

Do not use USB Flash it is slow and you will ruin the Flash Drive (it does not allow a lot write operation). New SSD will help much more.
