ZP 5.0.1.0 Saving/loading profiles problem

There seems to be a problem when saving/loading stored profiles
I asked someone else who uses this feature and says he has the same problem. So i hope you can fix this. It has to be problem in either saving and/or loading profiles. So then the template is not able to load the profiles and basically does nothing then. I have to delete all the profiles then copy and paste the old ones.. then after couple hours same problem... Please fix this.

What happens is that the files have weird file names. I have it set to save/load profile with the username of the account it is using. But the file names have some weird numbers and letters and files ending in either .zpdata or .zpcookie

There is like 1000 of files like this. There used to be a problem like this with ZP 4. And now its back in ZP 5.0.10

I have the same problem aswell, its highly annoying. Will 5.0.2.0 fix this issue? (hopefully it will)

So you guys updated the loading/saving of the profiles in the new version? this problem happens sometimes after 2 or 3 hours of running ZP. were you able to do a long test? Hopefully its fixed in 5.0.2

I tried to see if this was fixed in ZP 5.0.2.0 But it still has this same problem with it creating those weird file names as posted in the screen shot attached in my previos post. These profiles i had in there were from ZP MP though so could that be causing the problem? i have to make brand new profiles then test if this is fixed? Or it should support ZP MP profiles?

Thanks yeah i think that might be the fix. I talked to someone else who says it worked for him as well. Will update once i test.

Hey guys i tried to uninstall ZP with revo uninstaller and now the loading/saving profiles is working great so far. I just need to do a long test of 2-3 hours to see if the old problem of those weird file names is fixed.

Problem still not fixed in ZP 5.0.2.0

UPDATE:

After testing ZP 5.0.2.0 i noticed the same issue with the profiles as i mentioned in the first post in this thread.
After letting ZP run for 2 hours i started seeing

so this problem is still NOT fixed. The only problem that was fixed was the saving/loading of profiles. But the problem where the profiles get messed up is still happening and needs to be fixed. This problem is really annoying. I hope you guys can fix this.

If you leave ZP running through the profiles saving/loading for 1-3 hours you will most likely see the problem i am facing. Make sure to run 20 threads.

I have uninstalled with revo uninstaller both zennoposter mp + zennoposter 5.0.2.0

I still can't load/save profiles from the "Human" (I can save from here, but not load) area nor the actual template itself (I can't load or save from the template itself).

I'll keep messing with it, but this is crazy....

I had that same problem but got that fixed by:

1. Manually uninstall the c++ and .net installs

2. Remove firefox and anything dealing with firefox.

3. uninstall ZennoPoster with Revo uninstaller

4. Delete ZP folder in program files folder, both folders if there is 2 of them.

5. Restart

6. Install ZP

7. Make a test template to save and load a profile. If that works then your good to go.

8. If that fails keep repeating all the steps till it works. Sometimes it took me 3 times to fix it.

Anyways the problem i wrote in post #18 is still a problem. you have to keep zp running for 1-3 hours to see that error im talking about where it messed up all the current profiles with all the weird numbers and letters for the profiles names and makes zennoposter unusable with the profiles unless you delete all the profiles and copy and paste the back up profiles.. then after 1-3 hours same problem again.

My problem was entirely due to my own idiocy, I was never told or given any reason to actually click the "reset" button and that cleared up my issue completely.

Good to know you got that problem solved. Can you please try running the template for 3-4 hours using profiles and see if you get that problem i am still facing with those weird file names?

I am using 5.7.1 but this bug is still not fixed.
It's generating thousands of zpcookie and zpdata files in the profile folder (a Dropbox folder).

I have tried reinstalling ZP, .net, VC++2010, and Firefox many times but it didn't solve the problem.
I also checked the change logs since 5.7.1 but couldn't find the related fix.
